1983. Alicia, the mother of an adopted 5-year-old girl, teaches history in a Buenos Aires high school. Both in her profession and in her private life she has always accepted the “official version,” until one day when the regime’s façade begins to fall to pieces around her. In the crevices of this enormous lie Alicia suspects that Gabi, the girl she has adopted, might be the daughter of “desaparecidos.” It is then that she begins a painful and inexorable journey towards truth.
1983. Alicia, madre de una niña adoptada de 5 años, enseña historia en una escuela secundaria de Buenos Aires. Tanto en su profesión como en su vida privada siempre ha aceptado la “versión oficial”, hasta que un día la fachada del régimen comienza a desmoronarse a su alrededor. En los resquicios de esta enorme mentira Alicia sospecha que Gabi, la niña que ha adoptado, podría ser hija de desaparecidos. Es entonces cuando inicia un doloroso e inexorable viaje hacia la verdad.
