Janaína is an 18-year-old girl who lives with her mother and her grandmother in a housing complex on the outskirts of Recife, northeastern Brazil. Three generations who share affection, clashes, and space in a small apartment. She is attending the first year of Law school and is the first person in her family who may earn a college degree. When she finds out she is pregnant, she begins to put her plans into perspective, facing the dilemmas that emerge in a society where elective abortion is not permitted.
Janaína es una joven de 18 años que vive con su madre y su abuela en un complejo de viviendas en las afueras de Recife, nordeste de Brasil. Tres generaciones que comparten afecto, conflictos y espacio en un pequeño apartamento. Ella cursa el primer año de la facultad de Derecho y es la primera de su familia que podría obtener un título universitario. Cuando descubre que está embarazada, Janaína empieza a cuestionar sus planes, afrontando los dilemas que surgen en una sociedad donde el aborto está prohibido.
